Microsoft expanded its Security Copilot platform with 11 new autonomous AI agents, including a phishing triage agent that handles 30 billion annual phishing alerts and a vulnerability remediation agent for automated patching. These agents now process 84 trillion daily security signals while maintaining human oversight frameworks.

The company also deepened Fabric data agent integrations with Azure AI Foundry, enabling enterprise conversational agents to leverage OneLake data for contextual decision-making. Separately, Microsoft announced a free AI Agents Hackathon (April 8-30) featuring 20+ expert sessions on building agents with Semantic Kernel and Azure AI Agent Service.

In healthcare, Apple accelerated development of Project Mulberry – an AI health coaching agent that analyzes wearable data to provide nutrition/exercise recommendations, with iOS 19.4 integration planned for mid-2025.
